We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen extension. From start to finish Pete gave us quality workmanship and excellent communication.
This was our first big build and like everyone who undertakes a project like this we were nervous. Pete came highly recommended to us from friends who had used him the previous year.
At the initial meeting Pete spent a few hours with us going through the plans, explaining everything that we needed to know (even down to plug sockets etc), giving us suggestions and, most importantly, listening to what we wanted out of the extension. After this meeting we received Pete’s comprehensive quote. He wasn’t the cheapest quote we received (nor the most expensive), but he was the builder that we felt we could trust and where there would be no hidden extras. It was the best decision we made. He started when he said he would. He was polite and curteous throughout the build, and I had no issue with leaving Pete in the house unattended. The subcontractors (brickie and plasterer) he used were of the same calibre.
The building work ran to schedule and cost exactly what Pete had quoted. There were no hidden extras – as everything had been communicated beforehand at the quote stage.
We had already had our kitchen plans done by a specialist kitchen company and Pete worked seamlessly with them at the handover stage. He had built exactly what they required – making their job easy.
To us a key factor in choosing a builder is the communication flow with them. Pete was excellent in this area and will always return your call.
Pete only uses quality materials and will go the extra mile to get you the best product for your build.”
We look forward to having Pete here again very soon!
